Academic Journey: From UCL Economics to MSc Marketing at King’s College London

Hi, I’m Madi. My journey in higher education started when I applied to University College London (UCL) for a BSc in Economics with the help of the EduLead team. At first, I was really excited to dive into economics because I wanted to understand how markets work and how economic theories apply in real life.

During my time at UCL, I worked hard and enjoyed my courses a lot. But as I learned more, I realized I was especially interested in marketing — how businesses connect with customers, build brands, and stand out in competitive markets. It felt like the perfect way to combine what I knew about economics with a more creative and strategic field.

When I was finishing my bachelor’s degree, I decided to take the next step and pursue a master’s in marketing. I contacted EduLead again, and they helped me prepare a strong application for King’s College London’s MSc Marketing program. We worked together on my personal statement, CV, and made sure I highlighted my academic achievements and experience clearly.

Thanks to their support, I got accepted into King’s College London — a university I’ve always admired. The whole process was much smoother with their guidance, and I felt confident submitting my application.

Now, I’m excited to start my master’s and learn even more about marketing. I believe that combining my economics background with new marketing skills will open many doors for my future career — whether in brand management, digital marketing, or market research.

Looking back, I’m really glad I didn’t try to do everything on my own. Having experts to guide me made a huge difference. If you’re thinking about studying abroad or continuing your education, I’d say: find people who can support you and plan carefully. It can make all the difference.
