My name is Aru, and I’m from Almaty. From a young age, I was fascinated by the way laws shape society and protect people’s rights. That curiosity led me to study law at university, and over time, I knew I wanted to take my education further—to explore international legal systems and study in an environment that would challenge and inspire me.
That’s when I decided to apply for an LLM, and with the help of EduLead, I was accepted into the LLM program at Queen Mary University of London.
Choosing Queen Mary felt natural to me. I was drawn to the university’s strong reputation in law, especially in areas like international arbitration and commercial law. I appreciated how flexible the program is—I can focus on the subjects I’m most passionate about while learning from leading academics in the field.
The application process was intense, and honestly, I don’t think I could have done it alone.
